Universities who are members of the network Dukenet were financed as an Erasmus Intensive Program by EU. 2 weeks long, students have been working in international teams on an online marketing campaign to make social exclusion a less social problematic.

Social Exclusion

Social exclusion arises due to minorities (population, immigrants, the homeless and people with disabilities) who are excluded from society by the rest of the population and thus end up in a vicious circle. To increase awareness among the society, the European Union asked students to develop Campaigns to notify the people of the problem.

2 kinds of themes were investigated. Half of the teams took a closer look at immigrants, while other focused on homeless.
National reports

All teams did a previous research concerning local and national evolution of their theme, such as statistics, trends, developments and political policy. After their research every team had to defend their report in front of teachers and students.
Google Adwords

During those 2 weeks, students had the opportunity to work with Google Adwords under the supervision of Google specialists. The objective was making a good campaign for a non-profit company.


At the end of the IP, every participant received a diploma of Google and a certificate of UE Katowice.
